
IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS
Skill level can be improved by several different methods.
TRAINING – There are wanderers all over the wasteland that can help to improv your low level skills.
PROMOTION – With promotions, the initiate will be rewarded with PERKS, that will help them improve their skills. Promotions are earned by collecting experience points though actions [ traveling, looting, fighting, trading etc. ].
LOBOTOMY – The initiate may also receive promotions by taking part in experimental lobotomies. This can improves your mental and bodily functions to help your perform better during stressful situations.

CONDITION
To take wounds from various type of damage while keeping the character alive is one of the most important skills to develop.
HEALTH – Determines how much wounds the character can take from NORMAL/FIRE/ELECTRIC damage before they die. Health can be recovered by utilizing FIRST AID.
- Each level adds +2 to MAXIMUM HEALTH.
RADIATION TOLERANCE – Determines how much radiation sickness the character can resist before they die. Character can be recover from radiation sickness by utilizing RAD-PILL.
- Each level adds +2 to RADIATION TOLERANCE.
- [RADIATION DEATH] – If maximum radiation tolerance is reached, than the player is dead.
VIRUS TOLERANCE – Determines how much virus contamination the character can resist before they die. Character can be recover from virus contamination by utilizing ANTIDOTE.
- Each level adds +2 to VIRUS TOLERANCE.
- [VIRUS DEATH] – If maximum virus tolerance is reached, than the player is dead.
- [VIRUS SPREADING] – Each day of travel, the virus can reduce 1-3 points or grow 1-6 points.
- [VIRUS BURN] – A virus contamination is able to degrade or grow in the body each day. This means that the virus host can become sicker by the day until they pass away, or in some lucky cases completely recover from it. We have also found that the higher the virus contamination level is in the body, the bigger the chance for the host health to deteriorate each day.
- The chance of a VIRUS BURN occurring is determined by the percentage of the virus currently affecting the player. Example if the player has 10 point virus contaminution out of 20 maximum torelance, than their is a 50% chance that the player will be effected by the VIRUS BURN.
- A VIRUS BURN damages the player 1-6 damage to their HEALTH.
COMBAT SKILLS
MELEE – Improves the efficiency in hitting a target with melee weapons and unarmed attacks [ kicks/punches ].
- Each level adds +1 to HIT with melee weapons.
MELEE CRITICAL [crit] – Improves the chance to inflict double damage [ damage x 2 ] to targets when using melee weapons or unarmed attacks.
- Each level adds +1% more to CRITICAL CHANCE with melee weapons.
MELEE DAMAGE BONUS [++dmg] – Improves the attackers maximum damage capability when inflicting damage with melee weapons and unarmed attacks.
- Each level adds +1 to MAXIMUM DAMAGE to melee weapons.
GUNS – Improves the efficiency in hitting a target when shooting with guns.
- Each level adds +1 to HIT with guns.
GUNS CRITICAL [crit] – Improves the chance to inflict double damage [ damage x 2 ] to targets when shooting with guns.
- Adds +1% more to CRITICAL CHANCE with melee weapons.
RELOAD – Minimizes the chance of getting hit in combat when reloading guns or switching weapons in combat.
- Each level adds +3% to the skill.
GRENADES – This is not a SKILL but a stat that can be upgraded. The player begins with a maximum capacity of 6 hand grenades. Using grenades allows for ranged attacks, helping the player avoid direct enemy fire and reduce the risk of taking damage.
- Each level adds +1 to MAXIMUM GRENADES amount.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
MECHANICS – Improves the chance to lockpick mechanical locks by using TOOLS.
- Each level adds +3% to the skill.
COMPUTING – Improves the chance to bypass electronic locks and hack into computers and machines.
- Each level adds +3% to the skill.
- [ELECTRONIC BONUS] – Electronic weapons that use POWER CELLs receives +1 to maximum damage capability for each 6% in COMPUTING.
REPAIR – Improves the chance to repair damaged gear [ armor & weapons ] by using TOOLS.
- Each level adds +3% to the skill.
BREAK OPEN – Improves the chance to break open locked containers without damaging or destroying the content inside.
- Each level adds +3% to the skill.
RECOVERY SKILLS
MEDICINE – Improves the maximum recovery capability when utilizing FIRST AID, RAD-PILL or ANTIDOTE.
- Each level adds +1 to MAXIMUM RECOVERY using medicine.
OUTDOORS – Improves the maximum capability of recovering HEALTH when traveling or resting/camping, while having RATIONS available. OUTDOORS is also used in TRACKING DOWN enemies that GOT AWAY.
- Each level adds +1 to MAXIMUM RECOVERY when camping.
- Each level adds +1 to HIT on first strike when AMBUSHING.
- Each level adds +2% chance to TRACK enemy that ran away.
EVASION SKILLS
SPEECH – Improves the chance to have a positive communication with TRAVELERS and a better price when trading with them.
- Each level adds +3% to speech skill.
STEALTH – Improves the chance to ambush, stalk and sneak pass an ENCOUNTER.
- Each level adds +3% to stealth skill.
RUN AWAY – Improves the chance to flee ENCOUNTER during combat.
- Each level adds +3% to run away skill.
